Dear Resident,
Welcome to Meyerland! Hopefully I can answer most of your questions about this wonderful neighborhood. Meyerland is a 6,000-acre, deed-restricted community in southwest Houston, Texas, outside of the 610 Loop and inside Beltway 8. The community has over 2,300 homes. This well-established neighborhood features excellent schools and parks, large green spaces, convenient shopping amenities, proximity to Houston’s bustling business districts, and the world-renowned Texas Medical Center. The name Meyerland is one that brings to mind a beautiful residential neighborhood with strong deed restrictions.
The Meyerland Community Improvement Association (MCIA) exists for the purposes of maintaining and promoting a safe, healthy and beautiful environment in Meyerland. The volunteer Board of Directors and Staff are committed to keeping Meyerland a desirable place to live, which includes performing activities such as enforcing deed restrictions, beautifying public grounds, contracting for security protection, and sponsoring neighborhood events.
